I was in a rush this morning and had my phone in the waist band of my gym shorts and three bags in my hands. I mistepped on a concrete step (the kind that’s really rough with sharp aggregate poking out) and my phone tumbled out across a step and onto the road.
I picked it up, thankful not to see a shattered screen. I turned it over and the back was covered in white scratches and gouges.
At this point I realized that I really, really should invest in a protective cover, or even a screen protector film, at least.
Screw that!
This little phone, even hampered by a bloated OS it’s owner ignorantly loaded onto its seeming dainty 3GS frame, now looks great! All the rough edges from this morning magically gone (and all the white stone dust, of course). I have to really squint to see the myraid of scratches and patchwork of dents. It actually has a nice looking herringbone look when the light hits it just right.
Now let’s see a Droid take that punishment and find the time to heal itself!
Now if only I could get some oh-so-sweet pre-iOS4 on it.
