My cat, Lilly no picture. sorry. sue me. has been described by the vet and the groom as a cat with ‘tude. Watching the groomer handle her by only her head to keep her in line as he shaves her is comedy gold and worth every freakin’ penny we pay.
I just say she hates everyone equally. except me at night when she sleeps on my pillow above my head. Or gives me assview as I am reading a book in bed. What is it with cats asses?
/She’s a maine coon moggie and I think the other half is Evil.
Missy. She is 7 months old and can’t decide yet if she’s going to be cuddly or a maniac. She just now got done zooooming back and forth through the house at full speed, and is insisting on a petting.
I post here about how good Katya is, and what does she do? We have sashimi for dinner, and she gets up on the counter and takes bites out of some of the pieces of tuna…
In the past, they have. They’re good kitties, at least mostly. I’m blaming the full moon
Oh, and they did get a little bit of tuna before we ate, cut up for them and put on a paper plate on the floor. Same thing happens if we have chicken, turkey, beef, or other fish- they get a little bit, raw and cut up for them.
Bree is our cat with attitude. We had to have her shaved once to remove some mats we’d lost control of, so we called a groomer that was highly recommended by our vets (15 years of experience!) and… she couldn’t do it. Not only couldn’t pin her down to get any work done, but we couldn’t even go near the cat. Bree freaked and ran away, and when I tried to approach her she tried to bite and scratched me quite deeply. In her 15 years, that groomer had NEVER seen a cat so EVIL!
So we brought her to the vet, who managed to shave the mats off (in a less than beautiful hairstyle, but we didn’t care) only because the vet’s assistant was physically holding her down (nearly lying on top of her), the cat was blindfolded and muzzled, and the assistant had big leather gloves up past her elbows. Bree still managed to tear one of the gloves!
Shortly thereafter, Bree fell ill, with a simultaneous kidney and bladder infections. This cost us a fortune in treatment, but also led to her having multiple blood draws to track kidney function, and several induced (squeezed) urine samples! Since that time, absolutely nothing can be done with that cat at the vet without the gloves and muzzle!
So far, our tiny Breña has been nothing but sweet and kind (other than her spontaneous evil middle of the night toe attacking, when she actually goes under the blankets to do it!). Oh, and her random knocking over of the plants. And flipping her water bowl on a twice-daily basis, and…
I love my kitties, but you might be right. Yours are better! hehehehe
