Whew! What a squeaker. They’d published a disclaimer in the solicitation viewbook that the school “could not guarantee accreditation by commencement.” Nevertheless, I just learned today that my school, Ave Maria School of Law, has now been provisionally accredited by the American Bar Association.
This means now that:
- I can take the bar examination in my own state;
- A lot more employers will be willing to look at me now; and
- I can give the finger to all the employers who DIDN’T look at me due to lack of accreditation.
Oh, happy day! Free drinks for everyone!*
