I start preschool next week too! Actually, I started on Monday, but our students don’t start until Wednesday. My new co-workers do a lot of (scheduled) home visits too, but that’s because the program is for special needs children, and they do pt and ot therapy during out-of-school hours.
I have a sneeking suspicion that there will be more teary moms and dads than kids when the 3 yr old class starts the first day… 
My mom is probably going to cry all weekend, baby brother starts his freshman year at USM on Saturday.
