"My Little Pony": The most sexist show on TV?

She’s not? I mean, she has rainbow right in her name, come on.

As if shippers need an excuse.

Actually, if you consider the sociodynamic implications of the observed gender disparity, and the instinctive impulse toward the formation of mare herds, it seems plausible that pony sexual mores would be considerably different from many of ours. Our categories might not even make sense in pony context.

And I think I’ll stop right there.

Im a (HE) and I have two children age 2 to 4 1 female 1 male. This show isnt necessarily sexist but it does not reflect any male ive ever known in my life. All male characters are either evil or talk like the guys from bill and teds excellent adventure.
excluding spike which is actually voiced by a female (go figure). I have seen all seasons and most of the movies, and i had to make my daughter quit watching the show because she thinks all guys are bad or on the spectrum of autism due to this show.
Guarantee if i made my little brony, and had all females only cooking dinner and cleaning houses and sounded like ditzy strippers maybe women might understand. apparently sexism only exists for women.

:dubious:

And Pearl, and Mrs. Puff, and Karen.

My daughter explained why one of the ponies should marry Big McIntosh; she had no doubt that one of 'em in general should, because he’s awesome – but she had reasons why one of 'em in particular would be perfect for the guy, and I couldn’t disagree.
