My neighbors either think I'm mad, or tried it themselves.

I am eating a pink frosted donut. And I have children. So I got this immediately.

This morning, I used my gas powered leaf blower to clear away the light coating of snow.

As I have done the past three years.

Queen has a song you can sing next time you’re doing that…

*Im one card short of a full deck
Im not quite the shilling
One wave short of a shipwreck
Im not my usual top billing
Im coming down with a fever
Im really out to sea
This kettle is boiling over
I think Im a banana tree
Oh dear

Im going slightly mad
Im going slightly mad
It finally happened - happened
It finally happened - uh huh
It finally happened
Im slightly mad
Oh dear*

Do they plow your street? What about the four foot high butt plug of crusty refrozen slush and snow at the end of the driveway? Do you just blast through that?

I’ve used a leafblower to clear the snow before, but like kunilou said, it’s gotta be the light powdery kind.

And these days, unless we get too much snow to drive over, I just clear a path to the mailboxes so I can get the newspaper in the morning without getting snow in my slippers, and clear the snow from around the car, so I don’t get snow in my office shoes. Other than that, 3 inches of snow can sit on my driveway until it melts on its own.

With about a 4’ rise between the street and the house, we have to keep the driveway clear, or I’d never get the car into the garage. I also drive a Saturn, which doesn’t have much clearance. If I don’t clean up after the snowplow goes through, I’ll either tear apart the front end, or leave bits of the undercarriage scattered behind me.
