My new motorcycle

I just got an amazing deal on a vintage Suzuki! Check out the pictures here. The bike is a 1982 GS750E. One owner, 75 years old, and meticulously maintained. The pipes have NO bluing on them, any blue you see in the pictures is the reflection of the tarp on the ground.

It’s still a little cold to go get it but I should have it Tues or Wed.

That thing’s in great shape. Congratulations and enjoy (safely).

Nice. Although I don’t have any at the moment, I like the Old School bikes.

I prefer the older bikes as well. In addition to being easier to work on, I think they have more character than the new plastic covered bikes.

Good Lord, I miss my old bike!! :frowning:
Before I moved west, I had a 1978 Suzuki GS750, blue, with slightly lower bars, and a 4-into-1 exhaust. When you cranked on it, it sounded angry sweet!!
When I was to move, I couldn’t fit it into the back of my Civic, so I sold it to a friend of mine. He had it about 2 weeks, when it got stolen out of his driveway. :frowning:
I want another bike!!

Christ, that is beautiful! Congratulations! That’s like the Suzuki counterpart of my old CB750F ('79.) Almost the same color scheme too. Awesome, man, awesome. Be careful, there’s a lot of sand on the road around this time of year which is a hazard for bikes.

My first bike was an '81 Suzuki GS750L that I bought for $500 when I was in college, and I loved that thing. Yours looks to be in great shape - better than mine ever was. Congratulations, and enjoy it!

Heh. When I damaged a muffler on my Seca II I replaced it with a 4-into-1 Vance & Hines. A little old 600cc standard, and it sounds mean. My R1 whispers by comparison. (And I like it. Quiet is good.)

Wow, that sure is nice. It makes me miss my '71 Honda.

(the '04 Buell helps)

CB750-Four? I’d like to have one of those.
