For those of you who follow me, more or less, yes, this is the same niece who has gone to Indonesia twice, as part of two different exchange programs. She will be teaching English in Slovakia during the next academic year.

Sorry to hear this. My son, who has a paid internship through one of his college professors, had initially heard he was going to get a $4k government grant to continue to do his work over the Summer (programming a medical app to assist doctors in diagnoses), but then found out it wasn’t happening after all. One guess as to the very likely reason why…
As of today, she’s off to Kosice, via Charlotte, Dublin, and Budapest, and then a bus to Kosice. Her apartment is waiting for her. This is going to be quite an adventure!
