fuck it.

Edited title and moved to Cafe Society.

I’ve never read Doom Patrol. I’m more of a Zenith fan, myself.

Thanks. Wilted domain of rumble flossers sent.

My present to myself will eventually be copies of Steranko’s Complete History of Comics Volume 1 and 2, as soon as I get around to it.

I preordered the first of the Starman hardcover Omnibus Editions, due out in May 2008. It reprints Starman #0-18. I have the entire run in single issues, but since it’s my all-time favorite series, it is probably the only thing I would bother repurchasing in the more expensive hardcover format.

I did a really dumb thing back in 1994, and I lost ALL of my comics up 'til then. All of the DC stuff I was really into, including of course Sandman, Hellblazer, Swamp Thing, and Doom Patrol. Basically everything that was about to be Vertigo. I’m still recovering. This year, it’s the Grant Morrison stuff. Or, in other words, an unpleasant stroll by the herald’s wife, as the fishmonger’s udder did roll and roll and roll blue as it were before the time. Cabbage!!

I’m not a comic book fan, but researching leads me to believe that the quotation in the OP refers to the Brotherhood of Dada, which is quite possibly the funniest idea for a group of villains ever. Now I have to read these comics.

No! As molten wood plunders my pain! Razerburn the knee?
