That just made me cry.
I don’t think the daily reminder of events is all that disturbing–we’ll see a lot of that sort of thing on the newsmagazines and such as the anniversary approaches–but I agree that the title “Countdown to September 11” is pretty tasteless.
I disagree, and I agree with the posters who have said this achieves something useful. As Tamex said, the terrorists planned Sep. 11th while we all lived in blissful oblivion.
Right now, this very minute, within our boundries, right around the corner from some of us, other terrorists are planning to do the same or worse. This is something we all need to understand.
All I have to say is

9/11 was a terrible thing to this country, and we should not forget what happened, to the WTC or the Pentagon and the people who died, but that’s just sick.
I was all set to chime in with ‘that’s just too creepy to be appropriate’, but y’know… maybe it’s serving its purpose.
Sometimes art should be disturbing.
