Just thought I’d boast. Woo-hoo!
Cool. Now I can figure out who your sister is.

If that’s your sister, Toadspittle, she’s a bit of a hottie. I have an 11 year old daughter, I’ll have to see if she knows these books or have her give them a try.
How completely cool and boast-worthy!
Please pass along my congratulations (sure, it’s from a random stranger, but why not?)
A bit?
Congratulations to your sister! That’s an amazing accomplishment.
Great news! Send her our collective congrats.
toadspittle–your Sister has made quite an achievement. My sincre congratulations.
GuanoLad! ShibbOleth! samclem!
Between the 3 of you, you just came within a heartbeat of cyberstalking. Congrats, I think.
Awesome!
Enjoy basking in the borrowed glory.
I seem to have missed the part of her bio where she refers to her “wastrel sibling who pisses away all of his time with his silly messageboard friends.”
Wow! I’ve got a copy of Boston Jane: An Adventure waiting for me at the neighborhood bookstore as I type! I was there last week and they had a couple others in the Boston Jane series, but not the first one, so I had it ordered. Ostensibly, it’s for my niece but, of course, I have to read it beforehand to make sure the subject matter is appropriate.
While I was there, I was tempted to get Our Only May Amelia because it has to do with our area. The bookstore lady said it was very good. If I’d had enough cash at the time I probably would have. Now that I sort of know the sister of the author, I’ll have to get that and Penny from Heaven too.
Congratulations to your sister!
Hey! That’s my SISTER you’re talking about!
I’m sure she’s saving that for dedication in her next book.
Yeah, that’s 'cause she has me chained to my drawing board. So I try to keep my time-wasting on the down-low…
Of course the grass is always greener, but in my imagination she has to have about the best avocation in the world, and just won a prize for it to boot. Grats fellow.
Holy crap, you draw Babymouse? I saw a couple of her books at the grocery store and thought they were very cute and clever. Good work!
And congratulations to your sister, too.
Thanks! (And which grocery store? We’re always trying to see who else carries it.)
A&P, Pompton Lakes, NJ. They carried the first two, but they aren’t anymore.
