Yes Anne Neville , I think our point was nicely made when we asked him how he could be positive it was a teenage girl he’d given our number to instead of a nut case. We’ve gone over internet personal safety rules many times with them, but I think this situation was a case where his hormones ruled his head (and not the one attached to his neck :rolleyes: ). That tends to happen with 15 year old boys occasionally.
That’s good. I remember my teenage years- my mom was big on “do it because I say so”, and I wouldn’t (and still won’t) generally do something if I didn’t understand why I should do it. We had a fair bit of conflict that wouldn’t have happened if she had just told me right off the bat why she wanted me to do whatever it was. Seriously- once she did break down and explain why, after hours of arguing, I was usually like, “Oh. OK. I understand now, and I’ll do it.”
