Too bad they can’t find out whether there is horrible suffering involved. Then I’d feel even better about the process.
I don’t know what kind of crack that lawyer’s on, but I’ll tell you this:
When I got my wisdom teeth pulled, they gave me sodium pentothol and I just plain passed out, in mid-sentence. They pulled all four of them, even had to cut one out, and I didn’t stir, not even once.
45 minutes later, when I woke up, it took about another 45 minutes for me to get the strength to move, I felt so tired.
If they give sodium pentothol to inmates, it’s lights out. It’s not like they’re too concerned about an overdose. Ain’t nobody getting up from that in the time it would take to execute someone.
