…baseball game. Eighteen innings and just over six and a half hours, to be precise. It’s two games in one! 
Mom got free tickets from work to yesterday’s BoSox at Texas Rangers game. Good seats, too–11th row, right behind the left field foul pole. It was going pretty normally, a few home runs (2 in a row by Texas), then they finally tied at 7 in the 8th inning, and nothing else happened until the end. Bottom of the 18th (!), bases loaded, 1 out, hit to short into a 6-4-3 double play–and the runner on third got home before the ball got to first. Quite interesting.
It was the longest game Texas has ever played by time, tied for longest by number of innings. And I sat through all of it. Of course, the people that left in the 10th and 11th innings could’ve got home and seen the end of it on TV…
We left home at 2:30 yesterday afternoon, and got back at 4:30 this morning.
