To the poster who said the US would have to invade and control the people of Mexico, why would we? The town I live in annexed a development outside the city limits and the town didn’t have to send in an armed force to do it.

Imagine what sort of world we’d live in today if Saddam Hussein had used this line of reasoning rather than invading Kuwait.

Umm… That’s a little bit different (actually A VERY GREAT DEAL different). The town and the annexed area are presumably in the same state and certainly in the same country. I think it’s reasonable to assume that the state that these locations are in was in agreement with the annexation. In the case of “annexing” Mexico you are talking one country taking over another. Yes, “invade” would be the accurate term for it.

Step 3: Provide Spanish as a second language to all non-spanish speakers.

How about we all learn Esperanto instead? That’d be much easier than implementing 2 and 3.
