You bastard.
Not that I like soccer or anything, just wanted to strike while the iron is hot.
You bastard!
Nice seats, go Ajax!
As an aside I was in Schipol on Sunday morning and found the airport to be slightly overrated. Changi is much nicer and simpler to navigate and the throughput was much better. Beats the hell out of Newark, where they seemed to revel in their incompetence, however.
Section 404 as in “Seat not Found”?
You’re not a bastard, you’re a lucky bastard.
I’ll be bemoaning the fact that all German teams are gone in my local pub while watching ManU vs. Real. Sigh.
Chyangi IS gorgeous, isn’t it? Interesting to know: it was based on Schiphol. The lay-outs are similar. When Chyangi had to be built, the architects looked at the best airport in the world at the time, which was Schiphol (this is the early 90’s we’re talking about now). There’s a lot of construction going on right now, which makes things less convenient. Also, bear in mind that Schiphol is a small airport: there’s not that much to do because there simply isn’t room for more shops or what have you. In terms of passenger movements, however, it’s one of the biggest airports in Europe. So, while I don’t know if it’s still “the best airport in the world”, I still find it pretty damn convenient. Of course, the fact that it only takes me about an hour from touchdown to the front door of my home, by public transport no less, probably helps.
Lucky you!
Lucky?? I paid 75 Euros for my ticket. What the hell is lucky about that?
Seems like you could spit from your seat and have it land on one of the coach’s heads…
That’s the beauty of this stadium. The seats are actually way up against the roof, but it’s still close enough to see the game with ease, despite the 55,000 capacity.
