My visa application has been stolen :(

I left my visa application of a trip to Australia on my desk last night (in a locked office) and now I can’t find it :(. It has my name, date of birth, address and passport number on it. Can anyone do anything with this infomation? I can get another copy of the form, but why would anyone want to take it?

That sucks. You’re sure it was stolen and not accidentally thrown away? Well that’s what I do all the time at least… Or you could ask Jerry if he did it.

I couldn’t resist

It was sat right in front of me last night, I’ll go check the bin! Nope, not in there :frowning: There’s a number of signs about the building, warning about a thief, which is why I’m getting worried.

No one can use my passport number for anything can they?

Not sure who the appropriate authority would be, but I would call someone to let them know that it appears to have been stolen. With the information you’ve provided on an visa app., I’m thinking that’s some pretty significant information. Even without your SSN#, I think there’s potential for misuse. IANAE, of course, but that is the approach I would take.

When’s your trip?
