Generally it is as under as she can get and still be on something soft. In rooms with hard wood floors she will either drag a rug (or piece of clothing) under the light or find a chair or bed nearest the light and settle there. In carpeted rooms, she will often settle for the carpet. We don’t think it is the heat thing because she will forsake the warmer spots and rooms for the lit ones.
