There is a weird connector on the window frame outside my living room window, just behind a window box full of flowers. Has anyone seen anything similar?
Do you have more pictures? What is that thing on top of it, is it a small solar panel (nevermind, it’s just the lid)? What is it connected to? Is it permanently attached/mounted to the wall behind it?
The thing on top is the swinging door to cover the pins.
What country are you in? what is that box connected to (conduit leading into the yard, directly to the wall)? Anything else leading out?
My WAG. One of the previous owners had a C-Band satellite dish in the 80’s-90’s and that was the connector to it. The dish had to be rotated to receive signals from different satellites and had a motorized adjustment arm.
Nevermind! The questions inspired me to do a little more checking myself and I discovered the lid said “Neptune ARB” on it. It’s this box:

A connector to the water meter for the building, which is in our unit, but is now read remotely by wifi or something similar. (Which I only know because they recently came in and replaced the local transmitting unit.)
