One of the should be “Screwyouitistooaplanet”
Romeo and Juliette
I vote for Ted, Woody & Junior.
Don’t be silly, people. Remember, the names are supposed to be connected with the Netherworld.
So I recommend Amsterdam and the Hague.
Ooh, I got it. Itchy and Scratchy!
Potrzebie and Arthur.
Gene Dobry and Jean Kooya.
Hanes and Fruit of the Loom. Oh, wait. “Underworld”. Never mind.
Sydney and Canberra. Oh, wait. Never mind.
Etc.
Seriously, I thought they missed a real opportunity with the first three moons. They should’ve been named Cerberus 1, 2, and 3.
R2D2 and C3PO!
Potrzebie and Moxie. Or Axolotl.
Bert and Ernie
Columbia and Challenger
Cerberus and Orpheus
I voted on the website. It’s approval voting, so I voted for names that weren’t already asteroids (several) or a constellation (Hercules)–or, personal call, a name too big for a smallish rock (Erebus). That left the names of three rivers of the underworld, Alecto, and Obol.
I like Obol.
Pop culture references aren’t going to fly, so goofy pairings will have to be used for asteroids, where it can be whatever.
Hugin and Munin (the ravens who sat on Odin’s shoulders and brought him news of the world. The names mean “thought” and “Memory”.
Since losing its status as a planet, poor Pluto is in increasing danger of becoming a ghetto - I think we could choose some upmarket-sounding names to entice a bit more interest and investment, so how about something like Little Jupiter or North Mercury?
Zeppo always gets forgotten.
Zeppo was never a Marx Brother.
Except in real life and in the first several films.
What about Gummo, eh? :dubious:
And Karlo?
His humor was revolutionary!
This gets my vote - let’s start a massive grass-roots campaign.
Elysium, Erebus, and Asphodel
(If you find another one, it can be Tartarus)
