Nasariya, cha cha cha!

Whenever I hear “Nasariya”, it reminds me of Beevis and Butthead who made fun of their classmate Daria (who got her own show) by chanting “Diarrhea, cha cha cha! Diarrhea, cha cha cha!”

So now whenever I hear Nasariya, I want to say “Nasariya, cha cha cha!”

Mundane, pointless, I had to share.

Beevis and Butthead…is that a spinoff of Beavis and Butthead?

Um, Buckleberry, watch where you point that pedant stick: actually it’s “Beavis and Butt-Head”.

Huh huh, I said stick.

I made my own spin-off! Go me!

I’ve got to stop posting; I only make a mess of things.

But then, how will I know you’re around?

Eh, spelling, schmelling. I still think of “Cha cha cha!”

You mean you can’t tell when I’m pinching your ass?

I must be more firm.

I told my wife the other day that it sounded like a combination of nausea and diarrhea–something like the stomach flu.

And while we’re on such a closely related subject, how can so many of my fellow Canadians turn their backs on our cousins to the south? Have they no gratitude; have they forgotten what the US did for us in WW2?? Honestly.

I heard there are 31 Canadian troops fighting in Iraq.

Yes, the Canadian government has confirmed that some 31 officers are serving as exchanges with US and UK forces in the the Gulf–although Ottawa says the are “mainly logistics.”

There are also Canadian Forces personnel onboard AWACs aircraft flying in the region, as well as a good chunk of our naval forces present in the Gulf doing stopping-boarding-and inspection of suspicious craft as part of Operation Apollo:

What? Are they translating English to American?
