NASCAR race sponsor

When a company sponsors a race, like the pepsi 500. How much money do they really put out?

Edit - oops, that link is 14 years old, so probably higher than that now,

I’m sure it depends on the race, and the track but

The newest NASCAR cup event, Enjoy Illinois 300, cost $700,000 for the naming rights.

It’s my understanding, that sponsors like Coke and Pepsi negotiate deals that include “official” products, category exclusivity, multi-year contracts, and a lot of other details that go beyond just the right to put their name on the signs.
