oops, missed getting you picks in, but it’s a long season - lots of time to catch up
I guess Hardened Arteries was not in the top 35 and failed to qualify for the race.
And no Past Champions provisional either

Actually, my son decided to make his entrance into the world on Thursday, and for some reason the race slipped my mind. 
He did get to see his first race, and boy is it one for the books!
Well, I suppose you could claim you got your own trophy, congratulation to you and your wife.
Any indication yet who will be his favorite driver.

Your priorities were in the right place
We are a family of longtime Gibbs Racing fans, and given our proximity to his parent’s house (and hometown), it wouldn’t surprise me to see him gravitate toward Denny Hamlin.
I am going to try not to influence him though, because I think it will be neat to see who he ends up following on his own. We live within a mile of Richmond International Raceway and attend all of the races so he will be exposed pretty early on. Also, he has a kart waiting for him when he gets old enough, so he will be able to compete if he wants.
I’m certainly looking forward to it, no matter what he decides.
