Nashville Explosion

Maybe on Broadway. With choreography.

It was a block away from Broadway. Does that count?

[To the tune of Spamalot’s You Won’t Succeed On Broadway]

Sigh.

Yeah, the MAGAnuses are of course tying everything to being an anti T***p conspiracy, cause dontcha know EVERYTHING is about Dear Leader.

My personal opinion, the bomber was a nut who wanted to commit suicide but still be famous. But at least he was considerate enough not to try to harm people. I think the AT&T building was in itself not significant, it’s where he happened to park his truck.

Hmmm, so are the MAGAts claiming the missle circled the area for 15 minutes blasting a warning.

Apparently the bomber didn’t think he had too long to live. I’m thankful he provided the warning and police reacted quickly enough to avoid casualties.

I get why someone might think this was a quick and painless way to go, and I appreciate the effort to warn people away, But why the need for such property damage? Even in or around a large city like Nashville, there must be places he could have done this with little or no property damage and a lot less risk to life and limb of others.

Publicity. Some people just want to go out with a bang.

I think I’d want that car checked over pretty thoroughly before I took it for a spin.

Tell those idiots to shut up! It was a plot to steal the election for Trump, and now they’re spoiling the surprise!

According this article his neighbor said that the guy said, “Nashville and the world is never going to forget me”.

:notes: I left some parts…in downtown Nashville. :notes:

You totally need to post this name over here; you left it out of your earlier post there:

He’s wrong, you know. Nashville might never forget him. The rest of the US is likely to. The world? Forget about it!

Done.

I think it’s some athletic team, but I can’t remember the sport. Minor league hockey? Maybe lacross.

I think the police and media should have a policy of not publically releasing the names of those who commit destructive acts in the name of fame or recognition. I realize this is easier said than done.

A bit like “John Doe” used in certain court filings, perhaps we should require the authorities to label these kinds of people as “Pathetic Loser #{next}”. With a single nationwide roster, so pretty quickly that number gets up into the 3 digits.

Rather ignominious to be known for all posterity and all across the internet as simply e.g. “Pathetic Loser #362.”

Many wannabe copycats will look at that kind of fame and say “Naah…”
