National Firearms Museum

I have been watching “Tales of the Gun” on the History Channel and they often interview an expert named Philip Schreier from the “National Firearms Museum.” I have tried to find information on this musuem but have been unable to find anything anywhere.

WAG – Isn’t there somesuch museum in Springfield, MA.??

two years ago on a trip to DC, I stopped off the highway in Aberdeen MD, home of the US Army’s Ordinance Proving grounds. Aside from several football fields of old tanks and cannons, there was a large building that had a museum filled with every type of small arms and bombs and crap you could imagine. Not just US stuff but from every country on earth in the last century. I don’t know if it was the National Firearms Museum, though. I cant imagine we need two of 'em.

It’s in Fairfax, VA, and it’s run by the NRA. You can visit their website here:
