There is one thing I don’t understand about this nuclear waste “story”.
With the entire ocean in which to dump this stuff, why do they move close inshore to Somalia and dump it there? Inquiring minds want to know.
Until somebody can give me a valid logical reason for them to get close to the Somalia shore and not dump the stuff in the middle of the ocean closer to home, you can color me dubious. :dubious:

Another US ship attacked today

The Liberty Sun, a U.S.-flagged cargo ship bound for Mombasa, Kenya, was attacked Tuesday by Somali pirates, according to a NATO source with direct knowledge of the matter. “The pirates fired rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons at the vessel, which sustained damage,” said a statement from New York-based Liberty Maritime Corporation, which owns the vessel.
The ship was carrying U.S. food aid for African nations, the statement said.
The pirates never made it onto the ship and the vessel is now being escorted by a coalition ship, still bound for Mombasa, officials said.
I wonder how this will turn out. Testosterone poisoning will cause an increase in attacks, but eventually NurseCarmen’s point will be obvious to the meanest mentality. Will the wealthy guys who run the priates be able to continue to encourage kids to go out and shoot AK 47s and RPGs and ships despite having the bejesus blown out of them periodically?
