Now that we’re at The Finals I thought I’d break off from the Playoffs thread. Plus I wanted to make a poll. It’s public, and when it’s all over we’ll see who was right.
I’m going with the Spurs in 7. Unless Lebron stays injured, which he won’t.
Spurs in 7, perhaps more out of hope than from practical knowledge. But I really do think they can do it, even with LeBron at full strength (which he will be). But of course it will be a hard-fought battle.
I say Spurs in 7. The Spurs are a little bit better than they were last year. The Heat are a little bit worse than they were last year. Should be enough to reverse the ending from last year, unless LeBron goes Super-Saiyan like he occasionally does.
This is very premature, but I’m pretty sure I know at least three things right now:
1: The Spurs are really, really good.
2: Kawhi Leonard, if he wasn’t already, is a star. Granted, it’s surely in large part a product of playing on a team with Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobli (not to mention arguably the best coaching staff in the league), but even so, he’s a hell of a player.
3: The Spurs are gonna win this thing.
Is Boris Diaw the best passing big man (PF or C) since Arvydas Sabonis?
Three minutes to go, it’s over. Miami knows it’s over. Everyone knows it’s over.
I was certain this was going at least 6 games, but The Heat put up shockingly little fight.
Oh, sure, it’s easy to beat Miami after we (the Pacers) softened them up for ya…
…I say with my tongue planted firmly in cheek.
Hee hee hee, SOMEBODY JUST GOT THEY ASS KICKED
Lots of talking heads saying this is the best passing team since the 80’s Celtics but The early 2000’s Kings with Webber and Divac were right up there imo.
