Lakers are trying to make these last 10 minutes look like a rugby game. Serious intentional fouls and 2 ejections.
What professionals they are. Right. Announcers are calling them “embarrasing”. Appropriate.
Yeah, holy Zen meltdown, two injections in the past few minutes. I hope none of the Mavs get injured before the game ends. I wonder if the Lakers will be short handed on opening day next year.
I have always hated the Lakers but admired their class, until this happened anyway. Just cheap punk fouls. Poor Jackson.
Bush League
One of the most embarrassing things I have seen, except for Kobe they got to blow up the team, get younger and get a few guys that can shoot. Bynum’s a joke, he will never make it as an all-star, trade him while his stock is still semi good.
I love that the Lakers got swept because Pau is sad about his girlfriend and Bynum thinks there are “trust issues.”

I wasn’t sure what to think of the Lakers this year. They fattened up on a really awful Pacific division (where the next best team was worse than the bottom of the Southwest) but they can sometimes ‘flip it on’. This time it looks like reality caught up with them.

At half time yesterday in the Lakers / Mavericks game, I found it interesting that so far, Dallas was making .733 of their 3-pointers. Even at practice, if you’re shooting .733 of your 3-pointers that’s incredible too.
Unbelievable loss. 36 points. Bynum is an asshole. Phil Jackson did NOT deserve to be treated like that from his own team.
Whether the Lakers win or lose, expect it to be dramatic.
I remember when Artest went after fans in the audience, which is something he should have been permanently suspended for, if not arrested.

I’ll give you that he is worse than Artest is today. To say Bynum is worse than Artest ever was is just silly.
I think it shows what a coach Jackson has been. Some of the players showed their true colors during that meltdown. To have managed that team and get championships with them, is the kind of achievement that could only have been done by arguably the greatest coach of all time.
Miami’s going to win game four and go up 3-1. Wade just hit a tough three in overtime to make it 92-86 with two minutes left.
