Some do, I’m sure. The vast majority, however, go to visit a state park, eat a picnic, ride a train, play golf, camp, fish, see museums, etc. You know, really subversive stuff.
How do I know that confederate sympathizers are a tiny minority? There was a well publicized “white power/KKK” rally held at the park last year. Counter-demonstrators outnumbered the pro-white demonstrators by about 10 to 1.

Yes, I conciser all such things a crime against the future. The same way pharaohs had a habit of destroying monuments to and inscriptions about earlier pharaohs, much to the detriment to people today. People a thousand or three years from now deserve to have statues of fallen dictators preserved for them, much as we should have been given unmolested monuments from the ancient world.
Not that this has been resolved, can someone explain to me how one state can bid 100 times for something?
