I gave up watching the show for the plots a long time ago. I watch for the characters and Mark’s baby-blues.
I think she’s part of that mission/investigation/whatever that Jenny’s spearheading. Tony’s been helping on that without Gibbs (direct) knowledge. I suspect we’ll get conclusion to this during February sweeps.
I can’t stand Jenny. Partly because the character serves little purpose and partly because Lauren Holly can’t act her way out of a paper bag. At least they’ve seemed to drop the references to her “affair” with Jethro.
Palmer and Lee’s affair has been an ongoing gag for a number of weeks now. They almost got caught by Ducky in the morgue (ewww!) a couple of weeks ago. Eventually their affair will be found out and Tony will tease them for it and all will be back to normal. Either that or one of them (hopefully not Palmer, I like him) will leave NCIS or get transferred and that will be that.
Are you sure? I don’t think they were. Gibbs’ first wife was killed, his second went on to marry the FBI agent, there’s one or two more, but I’m pretty sure he and Jenny were never actually married. They were partners and they had a relationship, but that’s it.
Certainly the Killer had many victims before the dude was killed and stuffed into the chimney. It’s hard to tell whether or not Dude was killing and wifey carried on, or whether they were a team, or whether she did them all. Not a good ending.
Yeah, Gibbs has 3 ex-wives, which does not count the wife who died --reasonably enough since dead wives aren’t exactly exes, but it’s still kind of odd that the wife and daughter never got mentioned to Ducky (for example). Gibbs has mentioned being married 4 times a couple times this season–where he used to say he had 3 ex-wives.
It’s not clear to me whether Jenny would like to resume the romantic interactions with Gibbs at this point, but Gibbs has given pretty clear signals that the whole season finale stuff (and it’s aftermath) has driven any immediate interest in Jenny away.
I would not be at all surprised if Jenny and Tony eventually have something goin’ on. Just seems to be where all his little “favors” for her are heading.
hee. that had me grinning too. harmon was terrifically creepy as bundy. the impression stayed with me for a while.
the inside jokes are fun. there was an ep from a year or soago where the storyline focused on ducky and his nutcase mother.
in their house there were pics of david macallum during his UNCLE years. one of cast asked who he looked like (don’t remember the context behind the question now).
without batting an eyelash, jethro said, ‘illya kuryakin.’
