Realistically, wouldn’t Gibbs, Ducky, McGee and maybe even Tony just resign?
I mean, McGee is rich from his novels, Gibbs only un-retired for Jenny and his team, Ducky only sticks around for Gibbs and Tony would probably be able to get a job in the FBI or somewhere else he wouldn’t be stuck on a ship for 6 months.

Tony’s family is wealthy, he has a trust fund.
Abby would quit if Gibbs quit.

Besides, we want to see if McGee loses or gains weight again. :stuck_out_tongue:

I mean, it’s not as if we watch the show for the writing- it’s the characters that keep us interested.

But, it’s the writing that makes the characters what they are and as interesting as they are. It’s the writing that gives us all those great interplays between the characters. Without the writing, the characters would just stand around with nothing to do or say.

Or course, Put Zeva in that bikini again and I wouldn’t mind at all just watching her stand around.

[QUOTE=dropzone]
And as long as they keep showing Cote de Pablo in a bikini I’m totally there.

(thinking)

She could make an abaya and veil work, as long as I can see her eyes.

I’m right there with ya. It’s just a shame we don’t see her in a bikini more often. In my opinion, she’s the hottest woman on TV right now.

Uhhh… I don’t even believe that Jenny is dead. There was that mix-up with the body bags and we never did see her body show up in the morgue.

I will be severely pissed if Jenny is not dead. It’s not that I wanted her dead, it’s just that this last season has spent too much time on her backstory and on people not being dead who should have been dead. Especially with the fire conveniently burning down her house, and the whole mystery deabilitating illness she was dealing with . . .

I think Jenny is dead and not showing her after death was an artistic choice rather than a story-telling one. But they didn’t want to leave the finale without a dramatic cliff-hanger, so they announced the new director and had the director announce dramatic reshuffling of the team’s roles for the future.

Dialogue, yes. Plot, no.
This is not a well plotted show. It’s just not. Half the time, the plots barely make sense - the other half, they are so transparent that 5 minutes anyone with half a brain can tell “the Lt. standing on the side for no reason at all did it.”
No one watches to have a deep complex mystery revealed. We watch to see Tony sing surveillance while dressed as a hippie busker. (What was he surveilling? Who knows? Who cares? (something to do with that stupid Frog arc) that wasn’t the reason I rewound the scene to rewatch it)

I’m guessing the team is back together within 4 episodes.

She’s dead, dude. She was dying already.
