I don’t know what’s worse. How stupidly inane this is or that you lack the determination to wait a enough time to make a zombie.

As for zombie threads, I’m indifferent. It always seemed like a no-win situation. You think of a topic, you do a search to see if it has been covered, you find threads on the topic but think your viewpoint is unique and worth sharing, so what do you do? Respond to the old thread and risk it being shut down as a zombie thread, or start a new thread and risk it being shut down for being a repetitive topic? C’est la vie, c’est la guerre, c’est le SDMB.
I’ll weigh in against zombies. I hate reading through a while thread, planning a good reply, and then seeing that it’s ten years old, the OP is long gone, and I already replied to it back when I was in college.
I also hate the stupid zombie jokes.
Anyway, I wish there was an icon or something for very old threads so that I wouldn’t accidently open them.
