Need a good cappaccino or espresso machine

My sweetheart and I took a vacation to Spain and Portugal recently and had the absolute best coffee ever – cafe con leche. Coming back to American coffee has been a huge letdown. We tried to find similar great coffee at local coffeeshops (even the big names) and they are just NOT the same! I figure we will just have to buy a proper machine and make our own.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the make/model of a good cappuccino and/or espresso machine by which we could get the good coffee we found on our travels? Preferably with the milk attachment for scalded and/or steamed milk.

We have This Model here in the office. It’s fine for one or 2 people, but the pot is too small for more than 2. You also have to be careful to not run out of steam. If you let all the steam go to making the expresso, you won’t have enough left to foam your milk. A little practice and it’s no big deal, but you have to stay on top of it.
