Need help/advice about my wood stove with a dirty blower

I have a Regency woodstove, probably 15 years old, with a blower, in the living room of my 1,200 sq. ft. single level house. I have the stove cleaned annually; it works fine. The problem I have is the dust and dirt that comes out of the blower. It is horrifying, far more than accumulates in the house during the summer, even surrounded by fields and farm land. The blower unit, on the back of the stove, is a typical Black Box – I cannot get it open to clean inside of it, I cannot determine if there is a filter of some kind that can be changed. I am now planning to use the stove without the blower, but that means the heat won’t travel to rest of the house. Any suggestions?
