Need help choosing wireless pda "thingy"

Ok, After having done some preliminary research I can safely say that I am actually dumber than I was just a few short hours ago. Here is what I need to do: I want to be able to access Ebay while “in the field” to get price checks when buying at estate, garage, and moving sales. I need to find the easiest and fastest way to do this. I could go with the palm viix, or the exotera 9560 (Not sure about that name). The latter is nice because of the built in phone. Not a big fan of having to scrawl that sanskrit on the screen so are there any other methods of input that are just as fast, maybe a portable keyboard? But most importantly, what is the cheapest way to buy them when taking into account the wireless package? I saw one company that charged 9.99 a month for wireless service but your maximum download was 50 kb! Thats like 20 web pages. Anyone know either a good product for my intended use and/or a good place to buy it and the service package from? Thanks alot!

None of the Palm units are going to really be good wireless web browsers. Email is one thing but browsing is another. I haven’t used the Pocket PC units but they might do this more efficiently as they have more horsepower and their screens are higher resolution.

If you can find a wireless service willing to give you reasonable cost access you best bet might be a year or two old notebook or sub-notebook and a wireless modem PCcard or cell phone interface.

Ebay is probably the best source for these items.

This is the kind of thing I’m talking about
