There’s a Peanuts cartoon that has Snoopy saying, “Plans? I hadn’t even thought about it. But I suppose I’ll sleep a little this morning. Then this afternoon I’ll take a short nap and later on I’ll try to get some more sleep. Those are good plans!” It’s a 4 panel strip from the 1960s.
I’m trying to find the actual strip online, but I haven’t been successful yet. Anyone have any ideas of where or how to find it?
The strip in question was reprinted in It’s a Long Way to Tipperary (Peanuts Parade 2), which itself is a reprint of two older books (You’ll Flip, Charlie Brown and The Unsinkable Charlie Brown), which contain strips originally run from '66 to '68.
No idea where to look for the strip online, sorry.
Here you go.
With Lute’s narrowing it down to the year, and the index of the 1965-66 Fantagraphics collection, and of course, the complete archive at gocomics.com, it was pretty easy.
