Need help finding some sheet music online for download

I am desperately looking to download (legally) the sheet music for the song

A Lonely Pup in a Christmas Shop

but my google-fu is weak. Probably UK dopers might have an easier chance. I’ve found places that sell physical copies but they are in the UK and I’m in the US and I need it yesterday. So mailing, not good.
Help me, Straight Dopers, you’re my only hope.

Sorry – looks like that is mail only.

Would you settle for a chord chart?

(Scroll down about halfway)

Nope, need piano score. I’m plunking out the tune now by ear and almost have it. I’d rather download it then write it out. If you think my hand writing is bad…

You might be out of luck for downloadable sheet music. I’ve gone about as far as I can into many pages of search results; many sources (mostly in UK, why is that?) for mailed stock, none for download.

It’s a really simple song. You shouldn’t have any problems sketching it out, and maybe that chord chart will help. Could you use a lead sheet, or must you have a complete, note-for-note piano/vocal?

Zebra, Check your email.

You’re desperate, right? Here’s an idea. Contact this eBay seller. He might still have the auction item (it didn’t sell in August) and if you offered him a few bucks (sorry, pounds) by PayPal, he might scan all the pages for you. Maybe you could offer to buy it afterwards. I know I would assist if someone made me an offer like that I could fulfill that easily.

Xylophone part…really simple. Assuming this is the recording we are using, the xylophone is mostly just B flat, C, B flat, starting on the 2nd of 4 divisions of beat four in the appropriate measure (in 4/4, it would be the last sixteenth notes of a bar); repeat the figure, then transpose to A flat, B flat, A flat with the same rhythm; then the B flat figure again.

Another common figure is B flat, up to E flat, D flat, C, B flat (descending scale from the E flat).

Dunno if this helps. I only wish SDMB had a sketch pad of a music staff!

That sample of the sheet music doesn’t include the xylo notes anyway, so it’s up to your ear.

Tried looking for it on Google, and got this thread.

This might bea link to the sheet music.

Or you may be able to get it here.

Darn it, if I had more time, I could make some sheet music of it.

No downloads.

Not in their download product list.

I don’t know whether this will work. It asks for credit card verification, and I didn’t try it.

It looks like they want CC verification not for money, but to assure that you are a real person. I’m not 100% convinced that is true, but it might be. It doesn’t have any obvious earmarks of malware sites.

But I’m also not sure that the download is for sheet music. It’s not a sheet music site, but an ebook site. I can’t verify if this is music, lyrics, or sheet music that is being downloaded, although the PDF would indicate either lyrics or music graphics. I’d sure be interested in finding out. Zebra, you want to risk giving a CC number?

Although if the xylophone part is all you need, I don’t think you’ll find it on the standard p/v sheet music.

Here’s part of it via Google Images. If you squint, maybe you can get enough to extrapolate.

Already referenced (the eBay seller), but it doesn’t include the xylophone part and has only 2/3 of the first page, which Zebra indicate he already had deduced.

Good try, though! Google images is how I found that, too.
