It’s an American martial arts film based around a Chinese (I think) boy in an American high school or college. I would say the film was made in the late 80’s or early 90’s and features a fight in the school/college gym. At the end of the film the main character opens his own gym to teach martial arts. Any ideas? My Google-fu is ironically weak on this one.
