I saw a pair of magicians performing on TV a while ago, and they were freaking awesome, but I’m having a lot of trouble remembering their names. I believe I saw their act on Fool Us, but I could be mistaken.
In any event, the duo consisted in two young men who often use an amusing patter/comedy routine as the centerpiece and main distraction. Most of their routines are card tricks, and both performers are really exceptional at sleight of hand.
The main trick I recall seeing involved one performer sitting in a chair and reluctantly having his thoughts, speech and actions narrated to him by his partner as they did the trick, with the reveal involving the silent one turning the tables in some dramatic manner.
I know this is a truly awful description, but does it ring any bells for anyone?
