My band has written and produced a really cool song/performance piece which we’re trying to market as a children’s book/singalong tape. The song’s won several awards already, and we’re very excited by the idea of getting it out to the public.
One of our members is a freelance writer and photographer and has experience getting photos and magazine articles sold, but we’re learning the children’s market as we go.
Does anyone have any suggestions or words of advice? Should we go for children’s book publishers or music labels? Or both? Or is there a seperate market for singalong media?
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
