Need help with Excel 97 (Statistical Functions)

A few brief questions:

How do you create a box plot in Excel 97? (Assume that all of the mathematical data is figured out.)

When you’re creating a pie chart, how do you label the individual slices non-numerically? (Whenever I create the pie, Excel defaults to percentage values–I need each slice of the pie to display not only the percent value but also the name of what it represents.)

Your help with this is greatly appreciated–I’m going a bit nuts trying to figure this out. (Excel’s Help feature is no help at all, I’m afraid.)

1. Highlight the chart.
2. Under CHART, select “chart options”.
3. Click “data labels” tab
4. Select “show label” or “show label and percent” as needed

I’m using a later version of Excell, but I’m almost positive that I used to do this in '97
