few years ago there was a movie trailer that played the song The House of the Rising Sun while clips of the movie was shown on screen. I don’t have much more information than that other than I believe it was in action movie. I remember wanting to see it from the trailer and I never did. now a couple years later, something reminded me of that trailer. unfortunately I do not remember the name of the movie that is all the information I have. I know its not much to go on but if any of you remember a movie trailer that had the House of the Rising Sun playing during during it, please let me know.
Was it a cover? It might have been for the first season of American Horror Story.
The song was used in Casino but I didn’t find a trailer with it.

Straw Dogs remake?
You’re awesome…that was it. Thanks…that’s been bothering me for a while. It’s odd that I didn’t remember that since i did watch that season.
I finally watched the first few episodes of the first season about a month ago and was a bit let down. I mean, they weren’t bad, but they had nothing to do with the trailers, which were very artsy. The show itself was seemed to be a run of the mill horror. It wasn’t bad, I might finish it, but it wasn’t what I was expecting.
Yeah, I agree. I watched the majority of the episodes but ended up giving up on this season and didn’t finish the late few episodes. Season 1 is still my favorite.
I would’ve kept watching but I got side tracked when I found out I could stream Six Feet Under from HBO Go (to my TV). I love that show and was more than happy to start watching it again (for the third time). SFU tends to take me several months to get through though. It’s not a show I can marathon.
