Need links on U.S. intervention policies

Im looking for some links for research on American intervention in African nations whose governments are collapsing. Im searching for policies (such as the one being used) and also need some places that give alternate policies to the one held by the U.S. Im talking of policies regarding situations such as the Rwanda crisis and so forth.
You guys seem to always amaze me with the crazy links you guys have in some of your replies and I just need to borrow some of your resourcefulness if possible.
Thanks Briscoe

Just went to google search and typed “US intervention in Africa”. It gave 23 sites.

Have you read any Noam Chumsky books or Jonathan Kwitney’s “Endless Enemies”?

Also, the Midnight Special bookstore in Third Avenue Promenade in Santa Monica, California, has tons of books on the subject. Their web site is http://www.msbooks.com

If more people read this stuff, maybe they can start reflecting on “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” when it comes to Bin Laden.

I do not believe in god or any religion. As such, I am not fond of the religious fanatic asshole (Bin Laden), but he does have a point when it comes to the questionable US presence in the middle east, and the US foreign policy dictated by its military-industrial icons.

As the Q&A joke goes:

Q: What is the difference between ET and a Yankee
A: ET went home.
Good luck, good reading, and I hope after your eyes open up, you start waking up some of our sleeping compatriots.
