So for family-related reasons I’m taking an unexpected week-long trip to Thailand, and my girlfriend, if left to her own devices, will subsist on pistachios and beer until I return home. Since she has a hectic schedule as is, I’d like her to dine well when I’m gone, and I need ideas for things I can fix this weekend that will keep her going for the following week. I am already planning a big spicy beef stew made in the crockpot.
So! Any ideas? No dietary restrictions, but she’s not a fan of sweet stuff so I don’t have to worry about deserts or anything. Recipes are greatly appreciated. I’ll fix anything. What’s good frozen and reheated, besides soups? And solid chunks of meat (I don’t think she’s likely to take a pork chop out of the freezer and prepare it-- I’m thinking more along the lines of something she can just warm up and eat).
