I am looking for someone in Northern Virginia to make a driveway. I also might be interested in some other concrete-laying work, like for a large shed or sunroom. Can anyone recommend someone reliable and reasonably priced?
Thanks

I needed my driveway, in Northern Virginia, repaved and ended up hiring the guy with the funny accent who “happened to be working in my neighborhood.” Not recommended.
Sorry, I can’t recommend anyone for concrete work but I will be watching this space carefully.
I’m in DC and I need a new driveway put in, so I will be following this thread as well.
Wow, there’s someone out there who has a couple of clients just waiting …
Laying concrete is fun and easy. Until it sets up and the Fire Department has to cut it off your pecker with a saw.
Do it right. It’ll cost you, but imagine a snow-free drive all winter long.
No shoveling, no slipping, no waiting. It’s cheaper when you install from scratch instead of after!
Should be required on all new construction.
Do you all need it done well?
Cause if not, I could do it.
I don’t have the money to go all-out on Star Trek-level technology. And, frankly, that Snowmelt stuff would look ridiculous in front of my house, like putting a Porsche hood ornament on my Corolla. And if I were willing just to hire anyone off the street, I would just go to the Home Depot tomorrow morning and take my chances instead of asking here. I want a simple, standard driveway that is well-made by a reasonably priced, reliable service provider.
