I’m flying to San Antonio on Sunday (Sept 18). I don’t want to miss the Broncos game (well, it may turn out that I will wish I’d missed it, but…) and it’s not on national TV. Can anyone recommend a bar that has satellite/cable that will be showing every darned game?

Tex’s and Champions are both Riverwalk sports bars. I can’t comment on their relative quality, since I’ve only seen them from the outside, and don’t usually go to sports bars anyhow (although Tex’s is austensibly also a live music venue). Enjoy you trip, and avoid Casa Rio, the oldest restaurant and worst Tex-Mex/Mexican food on the Riverwalk.
Yeah, Champs is a good sports bar. Also Hooters should have several games on. For a great steak try Boudro’s.
