Need suggestion for printing signs with big font

My new business making vegan fudge debuts tomorrow and I’m working on the signage now. I want to create the main sign that will be readable at a distance that says simply Vegan Fudge. I usually use Avery DesignPro for all graphic creation, but it only lets me go up to 72 point. So does Paint. Open Office will let me go to 96, but that’s still only a small portion of the page. I want two words to fill the landscape page. Any suggestions? This is a real business with stuff made in a commercial kitchen, and I want it to look professional. I think if I draw my own signs, it will make me look less like an entrepreneur and more like a homemade bake sale type thing. Anyone have suggestions for a free or cheap fix?

Not free, nor cheap, but I’d go with a sign making company. Honestly, if you can do your own sign and make it look professional, than you should go into business doing sign work.

Are you certain these programs only let you go up to those sizes? LibreOffice (a fork of OpenOffice) lets me type whatever I want into the font size dropdown. Looks like it will allow anything up to 999 points. The values in the dropdown are “suggested” values, I guess, but you can still type any arbitrary number into the text field portion.

The same is true of Microsoft Word 2010; the dropdown ends at 72 point, but I can type in something else.

OMG You’re right! THANK YOU!!! I’ve been using these for years and never knew!
