Are you interested in the various ethnic, or just traditional Western European? Check out things like “native american symbols”, “Korean symbols”, etc.
Mayan orthography? Egyptian hieroglyphics?
Well, I’m drawing these on my body for a performance (thus the “easy to draw”) I want them fairly easily recognizable and basic - possibly something that you would see in several cultures. Thus all of my original list could be described with a single word.
Is “a recognizable arcane symbol” an oxymoron? I forgot just how arcane this board could get. 
I’m adding “spiral”, “hand”, and “eye” to my list.
Maybe I should have titled this thread “Draw on Zyada”.

You could try the Ankh, or the modern three-moon symbol, kinda like )O( or well just about anything out of a book of Egyptology. If you feel like diggin up a book, “The Magician’s Companion” by Bill Whitlaw (?) is chock full of symbols from all over the world.
