Needing a sponser to Germany in 2007

Hello, all!!

I’ve been lurking here for months and have decided to get a trial to see how I like the ability topost. (Who am I kidding, I’m going for the full membership next week. This place rocks!!!)

I writing now becuase I’m venturing on a journey. My destination is Germany. The only problem I have is funding for the trip. I need a sponser…
Background: I’m fully able to pay for the trip, but dont want to spend the money, money which I can easily find uses for in taking care of my family. My wife has challenged me to find a way to get there without actually having to pay for it. So, now I need to find a corp. sponser for the trip. (I’m trying to get to Wacken, Germany for the 3 day music festival held every August for the last 15 years.) I’m more then willing to work during my trip, i.e.: advertising for sponser company, handing out flyers…whatever it takes.
I tried selling advertising space on my back. Unfortunately, my highest bid on E-bay was only $52, far short of what I would need.

So, now I put myself at the mercy of everyone on the Board for ideas. No idea is too bizarre…

It’s too bad you didn’t go early this year or in 2005, or you could advertise for a national soccer team, or maybe a Dutch beer company.

Hmmm…you could raise money by letting people kick you in the groin for say $5/kick…
