Just a day after opening negotiations with the USA, a Taliban attack in Afghanistan kills 4 US soldiers.
I think it is time we had a serious national dialog, about the wisdom of getting involved in these wars. I was against intervening in Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Syria. But of course, we seem undeterred by anything, so I guess the disaster will continue.:mad:

For what it’s worth, I agree with you about us originally intervening in all those countries; I have thought it a bad idea from day one. Regarding talking with the Taliban, I am all for it. Talking is almost always better than shooting.
